50th year celebration
After the COVID-19 caused break, we now proudly announce the XXIII. Wilsede Meeting “Modern Trends in Human Leukaemia and Cancer”. It will be a very special one, since we celebrate, we are glad to keeping up the 50 years of Wilsede meetings this year! Founded by Rolf Neth and Bob Gallo in 1973, the Wilsede meeting has become an internationally renowned event in the Lüneburg Heath, which provides the ideal setting for scientific exchange and stimulating discussions between leading experts and junior scientists.
Given the exciting and rapid development in Haematology, Oncology and Cell Therapy and the recent breakthroughs in those fields, immunotherapy as well as gene therapy will be major focuses of this year’s meeting. The impressive progress made in these very different areas will be presented by international experts in their respective fields, but also junior scientists whose contributions have been selected based on submitted abstracts. We thank all speakers and chairs for donating time and sharing results thus supporting continuation of this unique platform of scientific exchange.
We would like to thank our main sponsor, the Mildred Scheel Foundation of the Deutsche Krebshilfe e. V. (German Cancer Aid) and the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft DFG for their sustained and generous support of our meeting. Moreover, we are very happy that a traditional supporter of the Wilsede meetings – Blood Cancer UK (previously Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research) is also back on board.
Join us – to enjoy the lectures, poster sessions, to discuss and exchange new ideas and scientific concepts in this marvellous and inspiring environment!
Welcome to Wilsede!
